These are the testimonies of UCD Students who have studied abroad.  Feel free to contact them if you have any questions.

"...I have always wanted to go study abroad in South America, specifically in Chile because my parents are from there and I have always wanted to know more about their culture and my heritage. I knew that studying abroad was expensive, but I talked to the study abroad coordinator at CU-Denver and she told me about several scholarship opportunities.  I found out more about the scholarship through the website, (for the GILMAN WEBSITE) and decided to apply for the scholarship after I had applied to the study abroad program.  I was awarded $5,000 for my semester abroad in Valparaiso, Chile.  I went abroad in the fall semester of 2006, and with out the help of the Gilman scholarship, this would not have been possible!"

Did you Study Abroad?

"As an international relations student it was important that I study abroad because it was a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in my field of study."
